A Christmas gift guide for travel addicts, like us. Just in time to sweep some great Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals. Hope this helps you plan your letter to Santa or decide on what to give other fellow travelers. ¡Enjoy your shopping day!
Tip: don’t get sucked into the discount frenzy. We like making a list of what we really need or want and we stick to it no matter what.
To see some other gift ideas, read our ‘Christmas Gift Guide for Him’. Most of the things in both guides are unisex, so go have a look!
- Instant Camera: no shopping travel guide would be complete without a camera! And although we all use a digital version, it’s also nice to take some pictures with actual film.
- Jewelry Travel Case: there’s nothing worse than having all your necklaces and earrings tangled. This pouch will prevent that.
- Missoma Necklaces: talking about jewelry… We stumbled upon these compass and coin necklaces and thought they were absolutely beautiful! Very appropriate for travelers.
- ‘Humans of New York’ Book: do you remember the blog (and sort of movement) called Humans of New York? This book gathers all those portraits and interviews collected on the streets of New York City.
- Travel Wallet: this gorgeous travel wallet is perfect for keeping all your money and documents in one place. And it looks like it can fit the annoyingly ginormous plane tickets.
- Set of Notebooks: we love having plain white notebooks with us all the time, but especially when we travel. We’ve always liked to write down all the things that we see and curious facts we learn about the country or place we’re visiting.
- Packing Cubes: packing cubes have made a huge difference in the amount of clothes we pack and in keeping our suitcases organized. We found these fancy ones in Anthropologie, but you can also get this cheaper version in Amazon.
- Passport Holder: this passport holder is the most beautiful thing you’ll ever see!
- Face Mask Mini Set: skin is what suffers the most when we travel, so this set of mini face masks from Origins will come in very handy.
- Water Bottle: between the tiny cups they give you on board and the high prices at the airport, it’s best to carry your own water bottle. We liked the design and the materials in this one.
- Tech Organizer: tech accessories, like jewelry, can get horribly tangled. This organizer will save you lots of time and will keep the cables in good condition.
- ‘Follow Me To’ Book: this is another great book option. Murad Osmann is the photographer responsible for the movement in Instagram where couples shoot themselves holding hands and pulling each other through different destinations.
- Cozy Scarf: having a large scarf that can also be used as a blanket or pillow is perfect for cold flights or long layovers.
- Cosmetic Bag: we just had to include this cosmetic bag. Isn’t it gorgeous? Plus, small pouches like this are always useful.
- Sleep Mask: to get a good night sleep on a flight, a silk mask like this one is a must!
